Brad Avakian Backs Greg for AG

Brad_Avakian.jpgOregon’s new Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian today endorsed Greg to be the state’s next Attorney General.

“Greg finds smart solutions to the problems facing Oregonians,” said Avakian. “I worked closely with Greg in the Oregon Legislature and I've seen what he has accomplished for Oregon consumers and our environment. He passed tough laws cracking down on identity theft and predatory lenders and he led the fight to pass Measure 49, protecting farmlands and open space from developers.”

Greg has been endorsed by every statewide elected official who has taken a position on the race, including Governor Ted Kulongoski, State Treasurer Randall Edwards, and Superintendent of Public Instruction Susan Castillo. He has also been endorsed by former Governor Barbara Roberts and Congresswoman Darlene Hooley, the only federal elected official who has chosen a candidate.
